Elementary School Newsletter May 16th 2022
We are entering our final full week of school. It has been an amazing ride. Students had a blast at Field Day last week and are enjoying opportunities to get out for field trips to the park which is a first in a couple of years. Our Multicultural Fair is coming up this Thursday as well! Students can dress down this Thursday and remember to check the weather and send the students in appropriate attire for the heat.
I chose to be optimistic at the beginning of this year and tend to believe that we did get to a better place than we started. We have a lot of work to do, and I am looking forward to continued growth from our students, our staff, and our school.
Healthworks! Kids' Museum St. Louis
5th grade has been hard at work studying the body system. For this project, students completed research about a question related to the body system, ranging from how the digestive system works to why we get nosebleeds. They then created art exhibits that will be installed at the Healthworks Museum. Their exhibits will be up all summer! We hope you will check them out. The museum is located at 1100 Macklind Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
